As we mentioned in earlier news our goals have been improvements concerning the stability and useability of MediaPortal and the TV-Server. We are proud to announce the release of MediaPortal 1.0.1! One big useability improvement is the introduction of an update feature. For the first time you will be able to update an existing MediaPortal 1.0 installation to 1.0.1 without loosing any user settings. Release highlights of MediaPortal 1.0.1  All you have to do is to run the MediaPortal 1.0.1 installer and select "update". TV guide:
Installation notes: Please be aware that the update function only works on MediaPortal 1.0.0 release installations. If you have a SVN build installed you will have to do a clean installation. If you want to keep your current settings then please take a look at the related wiki article. If you have community skins or plugins installed then you should update them to the latest version as well or you will encounter issues. As many systems might not need a reboot we do not enforce it. Nevertheless we heavily recommend to reboot your computer after the installation / update has completed to avoid any issues. What happens next? While we are slowly but surely shifting our attention to MediaPortal 2 we are already working on MediaPortal 1.0.2. If you want to keep an eye on its development you should monitor the roadmaps of MediaPortal and the TV-Server. Link

Newcamd already worked. cardclient.conf sample file added to distribution. Works with N3 *if* the server works with N3. Newcamd has been shown to work with N3 and emunation already. Radegast doesn't work with N3 yet but supposedly is close. For now you can only have one line in cardclient.conf active at a time so to switch from bev to dish (for example) you need to swap the conf lines and restart the DVB application. DOWNLOAD

Plugins couldn't receive correct channel names. Timeshift buffer file haven't been deleted. Shortcuts for favorite plugins didn't work. Simple OSD info in generic mode didn't work.
